Katy FFA Invitational CDEs
Stop #2 of our CDE season took us to Katy, Texas. The Marble Falls FFA Nursery/Landscape and Vet Science teams competed against hundreds of FFA members on Thursday, January 31st. The Nursery/Landscape team placed 4th out of 31 teams. The team consisted of Jose Hitchcock, Jessica Keltch, Daniela Solorzano, and Morgan Metcalf who placed 5th, 13th, 15th, and 27th respectively. Cheyenne Stratton, Ashley Rios, and Athena Whittemore represented our Vet Science team. Marble Falls FFA is proud of its students for training and practicing hard and representing our chapter well at contests!


Wildcard CDE Invitational - Weimar/Columbus
Marble Falls FFA traveled to Weimar and Columbus on January 26 to compete in their first Career Development Event of 2019! Students competed in the Entomology, Floriculture, and Vet Science contests. It was a great experience that prepared Marble Falls FFA to be a competitive force this CDE season. 

Burnet County Stock Show
The Burnet County Stock Show was held at the Burnet County Fairgrounds on January 3-5. Marble Falls FFA had over 40 students participate with their lambs, pigs, cattle, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and ag. mechanics projects. We also had students serving as Junior Board members. The students received incredible support from community members and businesses that participated in the Auction as buyers. Marble Falls FFA is extremely grateful to have so many parents, family, teachers, school district faculty, and community members supporting our organization and the students who are a part of it. Thank you to everyone who came out, and we look forward to next year!
